The act of mentoring is as old as mankind, but as a profession we are new and growing rapidly. It is estimated that from 6,000 to over 10,000 people each year enter the life coaching field. Coach training schools have exploded from less than 11 in 1998 to over 165 today.
Because of these complex times, we are greatly needed. We have the expertise to comb through confusion and clarify goals and obstacles; we use our skills to help others stay focused and on track, and we are blessed with the ability to encourage and inspire.
